Free Rides for Families

211 provides free Lyft rides to families who need transportation to a grocery store, food pantry, medical appointment, etc., 211 will provide one round trip ride (max $30 per way) per household. Households can only take advantage of this one time. They need to call 211 to schedule the ride and can schedule it up to 7 days in advance.

Also, the Baltimore Health Department Support Services Medical Assistance Transportation will provide rides for individuals who are disabled and/or older adults if all other means have been exhausted. For more information and guidelines/rules, the phone number is (410) 887-2828.
