Free Lyft Rides for Families

Our friends at the United Way remind us of a great new parent resource: By calling 211, eligible parents or caregivers now have access to free transportation via Lyft drivers. Those needing transportation can call 211 anytime between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. Monday- Friday to request a ride. Eligible passengers must originate and stay within the city and Baltimore, Anne Arundel, and Howard counties. Rides — up to five round trips per person – must be for food access, financial assistance, medical, or employment- related reasons.

Resources for Families

As we travel through these uncertain times, we have those in our community, such as Hunt Valley Church, who are reaching out to help support our Cockeysville families. Hunt Valley Church wants to be a place to offer encouragement, hope and support during these difficult times. You may visit the Hunt Valley church website and complete the “CMS - I Need Assistance” form and they will contact you and do their best to help where and how they can. If you have additional questions you may contact the church office Melanie Mitchell at 410-771-0690 x123 or 410-299-5723.
